Commercial Wrap Basics

What Is a Commercial Vehicle Wrap?

A commercial vehicle wrap is a custom vinyl graphic system designed for a business car, van, truck, trailer, or specialty vehicle. It can display your logo, services, contact information, licensing details, and brand colors across the vehicle's most visible surfaces.

Coverage can range from a complete color-and-graphics transformation to a focused partial wrap or precision-cut business lettering. Because the vinyl is removable, your branding can change as the business grows without permanently repainting the vehicle.

We produce long-term wraps with premium cast vinyl from 3M, Avery Dennison, and Oracal, then add protective laminate and install the graphics in our climate-controlled Linden facility. With proper care, a commercial wrap typically lasts 5–7 years.

Why Commercial Vehicle Wraps Work for Local Businesses

A wrapped vehicle builds repeated local visibility during the work you already do—driving to jobs, making deliveries, visiting customers, and parking in the communities you serve. Unlike rented ad space, the graphics continue working throughout the wrap's service life without a recurring media fee.

Commercial Wrap Coverage Options

Full Wrap, Partial Wrap, or Vehicle Lettering?

The right option depends on your vehicle, existing paint color, visibility goals, and budget. We compare all three before recommending coverage.

Partial Wrap

Starting from $1,200

Focuses custom graphics on high-visibility areas such as the sides, rear, or hood while using the existing paint color as part of the design.

Best For

Businesses seeking a strong branded look with a lower starting investment than full-vehicle coverage.

Vehicle Lettering

Starting from $300

Precision-cut vinyl for your company name, logo, phone number, website, license numbers, and required commercial markings.

Best For

Clear business identification, contact details, and applicable USDOT or MC markings without printed wrap coverage.

Commercial Vehicle Wrap FAQs

Cost, Lifespan, Paint, and Installation Questions

How much does a commercial vehicle wrap cost?
Pricing depends on the vehicle, coverage, design work, and surface condition. Full wraps start around $2,000 for cars and $2,500 for standard vans; large trucks can range from $2,500 to $7,000+. Partial wraps start at $1,200, and vehicle lettering starts at $300. We provide an itemized quote for the exact vehicle.
How long does a commercial wrap last?
A commercial wrap made with premium cast vinyl and protective laminate typically lasts 5–7 years. Sun exposure, mileage, storage, road conditions, and washing habits all influence its service life.
Will a wrap damage my vehicle's paint?
A professionally installed and removed wrap should not damage factory paint that is in good condition. Vinyl can also shield the covered surface from UV exposure and minor abrasion. Existing paint damage, rust, or non-factory repairs should be evaluated before installation.
How long does commercial vehicle wrap installation take?
Most commercial vehicle installations take 1–3 business days, depending on vehicle size, coverage, preparation, and design complexity. All installations are completed inside our climate-controlled Linden, NJ facility.
Are vehicle wraps worth it for a small business?
A wrap can be a strong fit for a local business whose vehicles regularly travel through its service area. The same graphics can build recognition during service calls, deliveries, commutes, and parked time. The value depends on how often the vehicle is seen, how clearly the message reads, and how long the wrap remains in service.
Can I wrap a leased or financed vehicle?
Often, yes, because vehicle graphics are removable. Review the lease or finance agreement and obtain approval if required before installation. We can also remove the wrap professionally before the vehicle is returned.
What types of commercial vehicles can you wrap?
We wrap company cars, cargo vans, Sprinter and Transit vans, pickups, box trucks, trailers, buses, food trucks, food carts, boats, and RVs. Our 10,000 sq ft facility accommodates commercial vehicles up to 26-foot trucks.
Can I update or replace my commercial wrap later?
Yes. We can remove the existing vinyl, inspect and clean the surface, then install updated graphics. Businesses often replace wraps when branding, services, contact information, or compliance details change.

We wrapped six different work vehicles, including pickups, vans, and utility trucks. Keeping everything consistent across different vehicle types wasn't easy, but Tito and the team nailed it. Every vehicle looks like part of the same fleet, and the project stayed on schedule from beginning to end.

The attention to detail really impressed us. Every logo, stripe, and piece of lettering was installed perfectly, even across difficult body panels. Luis made sure we approved everything before production started, and the finished vehicles exceeded expectations.

We've worked with other graphics companies over the years, but this experience was noticeably better. Communication was consistent, deadlines were met, and the quality speaks for itself. Tito helped coordinate several vehicles over multiple weeks without disrupting our crews. We'll definitely be back as the fleet grows.
