The Landscape Case For Wraps

Build Recognition Across Neighborhood Routes and Active Properties

Landscape vehicles are visible at homes, commercial properties, supply yards, and seasonal service routes. Matching truck and trailer graphics help prospective customers connect those repeated sightings to one company.

The design should establish the company, landscaping or specialty category, and one response path before secondary services compete for attention. Verified specialties, seasonal availability, credentials, licenses, and treatment claims belong only when the company confirms they are accurate and authorized.

We plan coverage around dump-body abrasion, trailer doors, ramps, mowers, racks, plow mounts, toolboxes, reflectors, and other equipment. The result is a system that looks connected while respecting how each vehicle is actually used.

Vehicles We Wrap

Landscape Fleet Vehicles

From the F-350 + trailer combo that anchors most landscape fleets to dual-season snow plow rigs — every common landscape vehicle, wrapped to spec.

Workhorse Pickup Trucks — F-250/350, Silverado HD, Ram HD

Pickup Trucks — F-250/350, Silverado HD, Ram HD

Ford F-250/F-350, Chevy Silverado 2500/3500, Ram 2500/3500. Usually with utility bodies, tool boxes, ladder racks, and tow packages.

Crew cab and regular cab configurations both common. Full wraps and partial wraps both popular depending on budget. We laminate every landscape pickup with heavy-duty UV/anti-graffiti laminate.
Enclosed Equipment Trailers (12–24 ft)

Enclosed Equipment Trailers (12–24 ft)

Pace, Featherlite, Wells Cargo, ATC enclosed trailers. The biggest landscape brand canvas — both sides + rear door + roof = a mobile billboard.

We wrap enclosed trailers as the primary brand canvas for many landscape clients. Service list and before/after photography go on the trailer side because that's the largest single panel on the rig.
Open Landscape & Mowing Trailers

Open Landscape & Mowing Trailers

Open dump trailers, mowing trailers with front gates, equipment haulers. Smaller wrap canvas but key for matching look.

We wrap the front gate, side panels where present, and any sign frames. Vinyl lettering also common on open trailers — affordable and visible from job-site traffic.
Dump Trucks (F-450/550 + larger)

Dump Trucks (F-450/550 + larger)

F-450/550 dump trucks and larger commercial dumps for hardscape and demo work. Heavy-duty laminate essential.

Cab wraps, bed-side lettering, and tailgate graphics. These vehicles take gravel impact, mulch dust, and constant loading abuse — we spec accordingly.
Service Vans (Tree, Irrigation, Pool)

Service Vans (Tree, Irrigation, Pool)

Sprinters, Transits, ProMasters for tree care, irrigation contractors, and combined landscape/pool service operations.

Service vans have shelving and ladder racks — we wrap around all of it. ISA Certified Arborist badge integrates cleanly on tree care vans.
Dual-Season Snow Plow Trucks (Seasonal)

Snow Plow Trucks (Seasonal)

Pickup trucks with snow plows in winter, landscape rigs in summer. Dual-season branding that works year-round.

Wrapped trucks pull commercial snow removal contracts in winter and landscape contracts in summer with the same vehicle and same brand. Year-round impressions, single wrap investment.
Brand & Compliance Elements

What Goes on a Landscape Wrap

Landscape wraps win on two things: matched truck-and-trailer branding, and getting the pesticide license display exactly right. Here's the full element list.

annotated diagram of wrapped F-350 + matching enclosed trailer combo

1Company Name & Logo

Primary brand identity on door panels, trailer sides, and top of cab. Designed to read at 50+ feet so the curious neighbor on the next lawn can capture it.

2Phone Number

The single highest-converting element on a landscape truck. Door + trailer rear gate. Single brand color, large character height, no extras.

3NJ / NY / PA Pesticide License

NJ Pesticide Applicator License #, NY DEC Pesticide Business Registration, or PA Pesticide Applicator License. Lower door panel, 2" minimum, high contrast for legibility.

4Services List

"Mow · Edge · Mulch · Snow." Trailer side or rear gate. Quick communication of service mix so the homeowner across the street knows if you solve their problem.

5Before/After Photos (Real Installations)

Social proof on the truck/trailer itself. Trailer side panels are the largest canvas — your best lawn renovation, mulch bed install, or hardscape project becomes parked-at-the-curb proof.

6Trust Badges — BBB, Insurance, Bonded

Lower door or trailer corner. Many HOA, commercial property, and municipal contracts require visible proof of insurance and bonding.

7"Family Owned Since YYYY"

Heritage credibility. Tailgate or trailer rear. One of the highest-converting micro-signals in residential home services.

How Landscape Projects Work

Wrap During Winter, Run During Spring

1

Roster + Seasonal Calendar

List each truck, trailer, and equipment configuration, then identify blackout dates, spring ramp-up, snow commitments, and target launch timing. This supports a realistic phased schedule.

2

Spring Rush (Apr–Jun)

We can wrap individual vehicles during your busy spring season, but we recommend scheduling 2+ weeks ahead and rotating one vehicle at a time so your operations stay running. For fleet projects, winter is much better.

3

Snow Pre-Season (Oct–Nov)

For landscape operations adding snow removal services, fall is a good window for wrap installs — equipment is transitioning between seasons. We coordinate timing with your equipment schedule to avoid disruption.

Landscape Wrap FAQs

When's the best time to wrap landscape vehicles?
Choose a window that fits equipment availability, seasonal demand, artwork approval, surface preparation, material availability, and the current production calendar. Share spring and snow-season blackout dates early so a phased plan can be evaluated.
Can a wrap survive landscape industry abuse — mulch, gravel, dirt?
Yes — when properly specified. We use heavy-duty UV-protective laminate (anti-graffiti option available) on landscape vehicles specifically because they get beat up. Properly maintained, expect 5–7 years even on a dump truck used for hardscape work. We've seen wraps survive 7+ years on landscape pickups that work residential daily.
How much is a truck + trailer matching set?
Common F-250 + 14ft enclosed trailer combo: $3,500–$5,800 for full wrap on both, including design, materials, and install. F-350 + 18ft trailer: $4,200–$7,000. Snow plow truck + trailer combos: $3,800–$6,200. Combo pricing is 10–15% off vs separate quotes. Lettering-only combos start around $700.
How are pesticide or operating markings handled?
The operator must confirm current pesticide, business, vehicle, and local display requirements with the relevant authority. Supply the approved wording, number, size, contrast, and placement in writing; we can reserve space and incorporate those supplied specifications into the proof.
Can you wrap dump trucks that work in heavy debris/demolition?
Yes — we wrap dump trucks frequently for hardscape contractors and excavation work. We recommend heavy-duty laminate and focus coverage on the cab and bed sides. The dump bed interior obviously can't be wrapped. With proper material specification, dump truck wraps last 4–6+ years through heavy use.
Can you remove the wrap when a landscape truck is sold?
We offer inspection-led wrap removal. Paint results depend on the original surface, prior repairs, corrosion, clear-coat condition, film, age, exposure, and removal conditions, so no paint or resale outcome can be guaranteed. We document visible concerns before quoting the removal.
How is fleet pricing handled?
Pricing depends on quantity, vehicle and trailer similarity, coverage, preparation, artwork, film, finish, and schedule. A complete roster helps identify shared production efficiencies and unit-specific adaptations.
Can you incorporate before/after photos into the wrap design?
Yes — and it's increasingly popular for landscape brands. Photos of your best lawn renovation, mulch bed install, or hardscape project go on trailer sides as social proof when parked at a job site. We work with your existing project photos or coordinate with your photographer for higher-quality shots designed for wrap-scale reproduction.
What about magnetic signs as a starter option?
Magnetic signs work for landscape pickups (steel doors), though aluminum-body trucks like newer F-150s won't hold magnets. For owner-operators just starting out, magnetic signs are an affordable entry point. Once you're running 3+ trucks, we recommend full wraps — magnets at scale start to look amateurish and the cost difference narrows.
Do I need USDOT lettering on my truck + trailer combo?
If your truck + trailer combination exceeds 10,001 lbs GVWR, federal USDOT requirements apply. Most F-250 + 18ft enclosed trailer combos approach this threshold. F-450/550 dump trucks routinely exceed it. We handle USDOT, MC, and GVWR display when required.
