The Logistics Case For Wraps
Delivery vehicles appear at customer doors, loading areas, distribution centers, and on repeated neighborhood routes. Consistent fleet graphics help connect those touchpoints to one operator while giving each vehicle type a layout that fits its doors, equipment, and viewing conditions.
Partner-program artwork, carrier information, unit data, and operating identifiers should enter the process as owner-supplied, current source files. Hawk Wraps can adapt and place approved content, but the operator and any relevant brand partner remain responsible for final authorization and regulatory review.
For larger fleets, a pilot vehicle, documented color targets, master production files, and a realistic intake sequence create a more repeatable rollout. Capacity and timing are confirmed after we review vehicle count, condition, variants, location, and release windows.

Vehicles We Wrap
From last-mile cargo vans to 53-foot trailers — every common delivery and logistics fleet vehicle, wrapped to spec.
Brand & Compliance Elements
Delivery and logistics wraps have specific elements driven by both branding and federal compliance. Here’s what we include and where it goes.
1
Per partner spec — usually side panel center. Amazon's brand guide dictates exact Pantone match, logo size, and clear-space rules. We've passed hundreds of these on first review.
2
Door panel or secondary panel placement. The independent contractor mark earns you customer recognition outside the DSP relationship and supports future independent growth.
3
Federal compliance for interstate operations or vehicles over 10,001 GVWR. Driver side door, regulation-sized 2" minimum, contrast color, readable from 50 feet.
4
Required for for-hire operations transporting passengers or regulated freight in interstate commerce. Displayed alongside the USDOT number.
5
Required on vehicles over 10,001 lbs GVWR — most box trucks, step vans, larger commercial. Lower side panel in regulation-sized lettering.
6
Customer contact + sales lead generation. Usually rear door or rear quarter panel — the panel the next driver behind you on the highway reads for the entire commute.
7
Fleet operations and dispatch tracking. Rear door or roof for aerial visibility. Many DSPs run their own fleet numbering scheme on top of any partner spec.
Pricing
Fleet projects get volume pricing — the per-vehicle cost drops with count. Below are starting ranges for common delivery fleet vehicle types, with volume discount tiers.
| Vehicle Type | Single Vehicle | Small Fleet | Mid-Size Fleet | Large Fleet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cargo Van (Transit, ProMaster) | $2,400 – $3,800 | $2,160 – $3,420 | $2,040 – $3,230 | Quote |
| Sprinter / High-Roof Van Popular | $2,800 – $5,200 | $2,520 – $4,680 | $2,380 – $4,420 | Quote |
| Step Van (Morgan Olson, Utilimaster) | $4,000 – $6,500 | $3,600 – $5,850 | $3,400 – $5,525 | Quote |
| 16ft Box Truck | $3,000 – $4,500 | $2,700 – $4,050 | $2,550 – $3,825 | Quote |
| 20ft Box Truck | $3,500 – $5,500 | $3,150 – $4,950 | $2,975 – $4,675 | Quote |
| 26ft Box Truck | $4,500 – $7,000 | $4,050 – $6,300 | $3,825 – $5,950 | Quote |
| Tractor Cab + 53ft Trailer | $8,500 – $14,000 | $7,650 – $12,600 | $7,225 – $11,900 | Quote |
Fleet pricing also includes: dedicated project manager (10+ vehicles), color-matched production across batches, staggered intake scheduling, and optional mobile install at your fleet yard for 10+ vehicle projects.
Coverage Tiers
Broad connected graphic coverage across approved exterior panels. Contracted fleets should supply the current brand guide, approved artwork, vehicle roster, and written authorization before production.
Full body color + brand graphics
Approved driver, passenger, rear, and hood coverage
Built from customer-supplied brand standards
Strong visual continuity across routes
Material guidance documented in proposal
Batch controls for fleet consistency
Full coverage
Sides and rear covered while the hood and roof retain the original finish. This lower-coverage approach can work well when the approved design coordinates with the vehicle color.
Sides + rear panels
Original finish stays on hood + roof
Lower coverage than a full wrap
Adapted to the actual vehicle color
Material terms documented in proposal
Suitable for phased fleet rollouts
Sides + rear
USDOT, MC, GVWR markings, company name, phone, website. Most affordable entry point. Required minimum for federal compliance. Often used for owner-operators and smaller fleets where wrap budget isn’t yet justified.
USDOT + MC + GVWR markings
Company name + phone + website
Required minimum for federal compliance
Removable film for compatible surfaces
Essential identity
Compliance
Required vehicle information can vary with ownership, weight, cargo, routes, jurisdiction, and operating authority. We reserve clear zones for the content the operator provides and approves; Hawk Wraps does not determine which rules apply or certify regulatory compliance.
| Marking / Requirement | When Required | Where We Place It |
|---|---|---|
| USDOT Number | Interstate commerce OR vehicle over 10,001 GVWR OR for-hire carrier | Both sides, 2" min, contrast |
| MC (Motor Carrier) Number | For-hire transport of passengers or regulated freight, interstate | Adjacent to USDOT |
| GVWR Markings | Vehicles over 10,001 lbs GVWR (most box trucks, step vans) | Lower side panel |
| Hazmat Placards | Per HazMat regulation when transporting regulated material | Per HazMat spec — all 4 sides |
| Amazon DSP Brand Spec | Amazon DSP partnership requirements | Side panel center, partner spec |
| FedEx Ground Brand Spec | FedEx Ground contractor agreement | Per FedEx contractor manual |
| UPS Service Provider Spec | UPS Service Provider partnership | Per UPS brand standards |
| "How's My Driving?" Decal | Optional — safety culture, complaint capture | Rear door, lower placement |

Contracted delivery programs should begin with the current agreement, brand guide, asset roster, and written approval path. Independent fleets can measure recognition or campaign response with route-specific URLs, phone extensions, QR destinations, or customer-source questions instead of assuming a universal lift.
Our Work
How Fleet Projects Work
1
Initial call to understand fleet size, vehicle mix, brand requirements, compliance needs, and rollout timeline. Design team builds the wrap to spec including DSP brand compliance review if applicable. Week 1.
2
For fleets of 10+ vehicles, we wrap one pilot vehicle first. Validates the design, color matching, and install workflow before scaling. Customer reviews the finished pilot before we commit to full production. Week 2.
3
After the pilot is approved, vehicles move through the Linden production studio in scheduled batches. Batch size depends on vehicle mix, coverage, condition, and release windows, with color and placement checked against the approved system. Timing confirmed by scope.
4
Vehicle drop-offs scheduled in waves so most of your fleet stays on the road. Send 2–4 vans per week based on route capacity; we return them within 1.5–2 days each. Final delivery with compliance documentation. Continuous.
Yes — we've wrapped hundreds of vans for Amazon DSP partners across NJ, NYC, and PA. We follow Amazon's brand specification including exact Pantone color matching, logo placement requirements, panel layout rules, and required compliance markings. Every wrap passes Amazon inspection on first review.
Standard production capacity at our Linden facility is 4–6 vans per week. For a 25-van fleet, expect a 4–6 week rollout from design approval to final vehicle. For tight timelines, we can coordinate production across Linden + Scranton facilities or expand to extended hours, completing 25 vans in 3–4 weeks. Largest single fleet completed: 47 vehicles in 12 weeks.
Fleet pricing depends on quantity, vehicle similarity, coverage, preparation, artwork status, film, finish, installation method, and schedule. A current roster and photos help us identify which units can share production efficiencies and which require separate adaptation.
Yes. For Amazon DSP, FedEx Ground, UPS Service Provider, and similar partnerships, we review the partner brand spec before design and ensure compliance throughout. We've worked with all major last-mile partner programs and know what each inspector looks for. We can also submit proofs to your partner for pre-approval if required.
On-site installation may be available when vehicle quantity, location, indoor or controlled workspace, power, lighting, temperature, security, access, and schedule support the work. We confirm feasibility and any travel or site costs after reviewing the facility and scope.
Every fleet wrap is printed to a master proof with verified Pantone or PMS color matches. We maintain printer calibration logs across batches and run color-match validation at every batch transition. The result: van #1 wrapped in February looks identical to van #25 wrapped in May. For DSP partners with strict color requirements, this is essential.
Send photos and the unit ID so we can identify the affected panels and assess the surface. Existing files may support a repair, but film availability, exposure, fading, substrate condition, and adjacent graphics can affect color and finish matching. We quote the repair after review.
Yes. Our Linden NJ and Scranton PA facilities are climate-controlled, so vinyl adhesion is consistent year-round. We don't slow production in winter or summer like some shops. Most fleet customers schedule rollouts in winter or early spring to be ready for peak season — but we can run any month.
Yes. After wrap completion, we provide a compliance certificate documenting the USDOT number, MC number, GVWR markings, and other regulatory elements installed, including photo verification. This documentation supports DOT records and inspection preparation.
For fleets under 15 vehicles: 50% deposit, balance on completion. For larger fleets: 40% deposit at design approval, 30% at production start, 30% at final delivery. Net-30 terms available for established corporate customers with credit approval. We also accept fleet financing through standard commercial channels.
